Improve leadership and management practices with the Work Wellbeing Playbook

Support team-wide wellbeing with leadership and management interventions.

Effective leadership extends beyond role-based authority to shape vision, values, and organisational culture. Effective leaders inspire a sense of purpose, build trust, and create the conditions in which both people and organisations can thrive.

Supportive management is fundamental to how people feel at work and to ensuring the job gets done. Management focuses on the day-to-day responsibilities of planning, organising, supervising and supporting employees to achieve shared goals. Managers provide clarity, feedback and practical guidance, helping employees understand expectations and access the resources they need to perform effectively.

Our new video with Sarah Cunningham and Dr Cherise Regier explains the important difference between management and leadership, and how each can improve wellbeing within an organisation.

Work Wellbeing Playbook 2.0 is available as an open-access resource, free-of-charge, at worldwellbeingmovement.org/playbook.
