New collaboration with Wellbeing at Work to expand World Wellbeing Movement’s global reach

A new global collaboration will help more organisations access practical tools proven to increase workplace wellbeing.

A new collaboration between the World Wellbeing Movement and the global Wellbeing at Work community will help more organisations access practical tools proven to increase workplace wellbeing.

Co-operation between the two social impact organisations will enable the World Wellbeing Movement’s research-informed insights, developed alongside the Wellbeing Research Centre at the University of Oxford, to reach a wider audience of business leaders across the globe.

The Wellbeing at Work network has grown, since 2014, to hold 10 global summits plus more than 120 round table events annually, with representation from 113 nations.

This new collaboration will build upon a strong track record of workplace wellbeing leadership by both organisations.

Since its launch in July 2022, the World Wellbeing Movement has already enabled far-reaching impact through its involvement with Indeed’s Work Wellbeing Score – the largest study of workplace wellbeing in the world – and provided insights to S&P Global about the inclusion of four key dimensions of workplace wellbeing into their large-scale Corporate Sustainability Assessment, which includes more than 13,000 of the world’s largest companies.

Now, in 2024, the World Wellbeing Movement and founding member Indeed are preparing to launch a playbook of workplace wellbeing interventions which, through academic evidence, have been demonstrated to improve one or more of the drivers of wellbeing at work.

Further collaboration will enable these insights to be shared more broadly across the Wellbeing at Work community, where business leaders and HR experts may be equipped with the tools they need to positively influence the future of work.

“It is clear that we share a passion for transforming the future of work.”

Sarah Cunningham, Managing Director of the World Wellbeing Movement, said: “Working together with like-minded organisations and networks means we can be greater than the sum of our parts: a fundamental value shared between both the World Wellbeing Movement and the Wellbeing at Work community.

“Having worked with Chris and his committed team – and having kindly been invited to share our insights at a number of their many global summits – it is clear that we share a passion for transforming the future of work.

“We look forward to developing our collaboration further to deliver practical tools into the hands of those who can have the greatest impact on the lives of real people.”

“We are looking forward […] to delivering practical tools and insights to leaders across the world for maximum impact.”

Chris Cummings, Founder and Group CEO of Wellbeing at Work, said: “From the moment I met Sarah and the World Wellbeing Movement team, I have been really impressed with the excellent work they are doing to really develop the industry with evidence-based wellbeing insights into real-world impact.

“On behalf of Wellbeing at Work, it is a huge honour to agree this partnership between two like-minded organisations and we are looking forward to further collaboration between the two teams to deliver practical tools and insights to leaders across the world for maximum impact.”
